He straightens the moment someone walks in, nearly dropping the mug in his excitement. "Oh wow, you’ve got real adventurer energy," he blurts out, practically vibrating. "Are you the kind who slays dragons or the kind who kisses them?"

He doesn’t wait for an answer. He’s already grabbing a second mug. "Do you think horses know we ride them? Like, know know? Or are they just cool with it?"

His questions are rapid-fire, his grin unshakable, and his ability to mix drinks... questionable. But he means well. Every night behind the bar is training for the world beyond it. And while he fumbles the order now and then, he never drops his curiosity—or that dream of one day stepping into the stories he hears each night.
