The Dragonfly Derby: The Dragonfly Derby

It starts with a collision—wings, glitter, and a pixie with more attitude than sense. A bustling festival. A wrong turn. And suddenly, you're in the middle of a dragonfly race with rules no one bothered to explain. What should’ve been a bit of fun spirals into something far stranger: a smuggling ring powered by enchanted insects, moving stolen goods beneath everyone’s noses.
The pixie doesn’t mean to get involved. She just can’t help it. With a fiery spark in her chest and an unshakable sense of what’s right, she dives headfirst into the chaos, dragging you with her. Together, you'll navigate high-speed flights, secret hideouts, and some very grumpy bugs—all while uncovering a network that runs deeper than wings and sparkle alone.

She spun midair, giggling as the breeze caught the hem of her petal-skirt and flipped it halfway to her wings. "Oh! Breezy bloomers again," she chirped, twirling to adjust it but only making it worse. "You saw, didn’t you?" Her grin turned devilish for half a beat, then went soft again. "It’s okay. Happens all the time. You're still cute." She zipped off after the dragonfly, trailing sparkling dust in her wake.

The docks creak beneath heavy boots, the scent of salt and spilled rum thick in the air. Laughter and steel ring out in equal measure, deals made and broken in the space of a breath. A man leans against a weatherworn post, eyes sharp beneath the shadow of his tricorn. "This place’ll eat you alive, stranger," he muses, flicking a coin between his fingers. "Unless, of course, you learn to bite first."
