Ravenbreath is a creative world, lore archive, and developing RPG project operated by Cog Machina, LLC (“Ravenbreath,” “we,” or “us”). By using this site, visitors agree to treat the work, systems, accounts, and community features with basic respect, reasonable care, and a healthy fear of consequences.
This page explains the general terms for using Ravenbreath, including ownership of content, acceptable use, account responsibility, disclaimers, and how changes to the site or these terms may be handled. It is not meant to be dramatic. The ravens insisted anyway.

Ownership of the Work
Ravenbreath, its original lore, characters, factions, places, species, stories, items, artwork direction, written content, design systems, names, concepts, and presentation are owned by Ravenbreath unless otherwise stated. Portions of the Ravenbreath creative work, including character materials, are registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. The site may be viewed, explored, and enjoyed, but access does not grant ownership, license, or permission to reuse the material.
Visitors may not copy, scrape, republish, sell, redistribute, adapt, train systems on, or commercially exploit Ravenbreath content without written permission. Sharing links to public pages is welcome. Pretending the archive is yours because you found it in the wild is less welcome and may summon paperwork.
Some tools, libraries, fonts, services, or third-party components may be used to operate the site and remain owned by their respective owners. Ravenbreath does not claim ownership over third-party material that may be referenced, embedded, licensed, or used under separate terms.

Rules of the Road
Visitors may use Ravenbreath for personal browsing, reading, account access, exploration, and other ordinary site features made available to them. The site is meant to be explored like a dark road with interesting warnings, not attacked like a gate that owes someone money.
Visitors may not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security, abuse accounts, overload systems, harvest data, scrape content at scale, upload malicious material, impersonate others, or use Ravenbreath for fraud, harassment, spam, or other harmful conduct.
Ravenbreath may restrict, suspend, remove, or block access when necessary to protect the site, its systems, its content, its users, or its own legal rights. The goal is not to be heavy-handed. The goal is to keep the archive from catching fire because someone brought a torch into the paper room.

The site may contain drafts, evolving lore, unfinished features, errors, broken paths, missing pages, experimental systems, or content that changes as the project grows. Some roads are still under construction. Some roads are pretending not to be traps.
Ravenbreath does not guarantee that Ravenbreath will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, secure, complete, or suitable for every visitor’s particular purpose. The site may be updated, revised, restricted, redesigned, moved, paused, or discontinued in whole or in part.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ravenbreath is not responsible for damages or losses arising from use of the site, inability to access the site, reliance on site content, technical issues, third-party services, or the ordinary chaos of the internet wearing a nicer hat.

Accounts and Access
Some Ravenbreath features may require an account. Account holders are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure, using a valid email address they control, and notifying support if they believe their account has been accessed without permission. You must give your real date of birth and answer any age confirmation truthfully. We may close an account that didn't.
Account access may be used for authentication, preferences, saved features, administrative tools, or future site functions. Creating an account does not grant special rights to Ravenbreath content, internal systems, private data, unpublished material, or anything locked behind doors that were very clearly locked for a reason.
Ravenbreath may modify, limit, suspend, or remove account access if an account is misused, compromised, inactive, abusive, technically disruptive, or otherwise harmful to the site. Accounts are useful keys, not crowns.
Age-Based Content Access
Ravenbreath uses age-based content ratings to decide which stories each account can see. Accounts are not available to anyone under 13. A version for younger players may come later. If it does, a child could join only with verified permission from a parent or guardian, as the law requires.
Mature 16+ stories are limited to account holders who are 16 or older. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month after the month you turn 16. Being eligible does not turn Mature 16+ on. It stays off until you confirm that you are 16 or older and choose to enable it. That confirmation is your own declaration, not an independent check of your age. Giving false age information, or trying to get around content restrictions, may lead to restricted or suspended access.
